Senior Day

3rd Annual Christmas Musical

It is with joy and excitement that we invite you to our 3rd annual Christmas musical. It will be two evenings packed with drama, music and a moral to take home with you. The program this year is called, “The Voices of Christmas.” The choir has been working on the music for two months and the ensemble has really stepped up their practice and is mastering the accompaniment. This years musical will be the best one yet! Don’t miss it! There are two performances scheduled. The first performance is Friday, December 1o and the second performance is Saturday, December 11. Both performances are scheduled to start at 7 P.M.

Choir 2010

This coming Sunday, December 5, is the Choir and Instrumental Ensemble’s last Sunday for the fall semester. They will be ministering at Sunbury God’s Missionary Church on Sunday morning and Lebanon God’s Missionary Church on Sunday evening. If you haven’t had the chance to hear them yet, make sure you come out and hear them! You won’t be disappointed!

Christmas time is Coming!!

You know that it is getting close to Christmas when you are running around like crazy with preparations for the musical, finishing up assignments and doing all kinds of Christmas shopping. We believe that Penn View does Christmas in style! We are so looking forward to our annual Christmas musical and the festivities surrounding the event. Students are busy trying to finish up their assignments in the 2 1/2 weeks left in the semester! It is busy around here, but we would not change it for the world!!

Fall Fun Night

Last Friday, was Fall fun night. It was sponsered by the Student Council. There was an apple eating contest and a wood splitting contest. The bonfire kept everyone warm and the fellowship was wonderful. It was a time of setting aside homework and assignments and enjoying the crisp, fall weather.

Education Majors Retreat

This past weekend, the education majors, under the direction of Bro. Fellencer, went on a retreat. Mrs. Evans came to be the guest speaker. The weekend was full of inspiration for teachers, and information and advice for students just starting out on their teaching adventures. From the pictues that have been shown, it looks like the weekend was very fun!

New York City - Cultural Anthropology

The Cultural Anthropology class went to New York City, specifically China Town. The students were to answer a list of questions about the Chinese culture. This was a part of their grade for the class. They actually were to immerse themselves in the culture. This is real life experience for the students. It is said to be one of the most important opportunities of their training. From hearing what they had to say, they learned a lot and now understand in a new way cultural differences and the effect they can have on ministry.

Thanksgiving Break

Students young and old are looking foward to Thanksgiving Break! Break runs from noon on November 24, and school resumes on November 30. Students will be traveling to their destinations Wednesday evening. We would appreciate prayers for their safety. Happy Thanksgiving to all of the Penn View Blog Readers!!
