Fall Fun Night

Last Friday, was Fall fun night.  It was sponsered by the Student Council.  There was an apple eating contest and a wood splitting contest.  The bonfire kept everyone warm and the fellowship was wonderful.  It was a time of setting aside homework and assignments and enjoying the crisp, fall weather.

Education Majors Retreat

This past weekend, the education majors, under the direction of Bro. Fellencer, went on a retreat.  Mrs. Evans came to be the guest speaker.  The weekend was full of inspiration for teachers, and information and advice for students just starting out on their teaching adventures. New York City - Cultural Anthropology

The Cultural Anthropology class went to New York City, specifically China Town.  The students were to answer a list of questions about the Chinese culture.  This was a part of their grade for the class.   They actually were to immerse themselves in the culture.  This is real life experience for the students.  It is said to be one of the most important opportunities of their training.  From hearing what they had to say, they learned a lot and now understand in a new way cultural differences and the effect they can have on ministry.
